Sierra Hinshaw calls from the garage of the forestry office, grabbing some ramp bulbs from the refrigerator. She’s been running a planting stock sale for ramps and was expecting an interested customer later that day.
Hinshaw serves as an AmeriCorps member on the Sustainable Forestry team, although this is not her first time serving with AmeriCorps. She served with the conservation cohort, a program within Rural Action’s Appalachian Ohio Restore Corps, during the summer of 2023.
